A cinnamon roll and a muffin just had a baby and this is their child. I was inspired by Comfy Belly's cinnamon muffins and made a few tweaks of my own, including my Pecan Butter Cinnamon Glaze. You're going to want to mentally prepare yourself for these, because your mind is going to be blown.
I've been dying for bread, like you don't even know, and I figured it was time to give this infamous SCD recipe a try. I have to give a special shoutout to @approvedpaleo for the advice - adding some more salt and a little bit of ACV into the dough is a game changer. In fact, this bread in general is just one big game changer honestly.
What you'll need:
The holidays can be a tough time when you're on a restrictive diet. That's why I always try to make "my versions" of the food that everyone else around me is eating, and during Passover, that means matzah ball soup.
Put a fork in it, and by “it” I mean this butternut squash “cheese” sauce.
Favorite pictures of mine don’t happen all the time, but when they do, they look like this.
I've been craving a fat stack of pancakes lately and that’s exactly what I made myself this morning.
The recipe is super simple. All you'll need is:
For how much of this homemade SCD yogurt I consume a week, I figured it was probably time to show you all how I make it! It was perfect timing too, since my friends at California Home Goods sent me over these cute AF mason jars and I immediately knew exactly what to do with them - make Yogurt Parfaits!
Super Bowl Sunday is one of the greatest days of the year, and if you don't agree, I'm sorry, but we just can't be friends. Super Bowl Sunday is all about food and football. While I can easily enjoy the football without any problem, as long as the Patriots don't win (sorry, I had to), the food can be a little tricky. Finding good, game-day snacks is often difficult when I obviously can't have gluten, and I also can't have anything with onion or garlic, which eliminates about every sauce you normally drench or dip things in. I miss you, ranch. Honestly, that might have to be my next recipe. To solve this problem and satisfy my need for some solid Super Bowl Sunday snacks, because you just can't watch football without snacks, I've come up with my own version of wings. Hot and spicy buffalo-style and sesame teriyaki.
Would you believe me if I said *dun dun dun* that these wings are "FRIED"?! Well, guess what?! They are! Air-fried, of course. Eating fried foods is normally one of the WORST things you can do to your body. But, if you're a sucker for a good batch of buffalo wings, like I am, an Air Fryer can be a game-changer. Sports pun intended. An air fryer circulates hot air around your food, making it perfectly crispy, without all the oil and grease. Ain't no thing but a chicken wing.

You didn’t think I’d forget about #NationalPeanutButterDay did you?! Come on, my love for Pb is too strong not to celebrate this amazingly random holiday that was probably created solely for posting pics like these Chocolate and Peanut Butter Waffles.
Happy last first day of school! It’s hard to believe that today marks the beginning of my last semester of college, but I’m going to try to savor every moment of it while I can. I’m also going to try to savor every bite of my Fakeout Takeout Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps!
Ever hear how a hot cup of lemon water and turmeric in the morning is like a cure-all? It's true. Lemon is packed with the ever necessary Vitamin C that we all need during the winter, especially when a college campus becomes a breeding-ground for sickness, and it also contains citric acid which helps with digestion and breaking down food. And what about turmeric? Not only does turmeric add a bright color and warm spice to everything you use in it, but it also has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and antioxidant properties. I mean, what more could you ask for? That's why I've teamed up with my favorite Superfoods company, Healthworks, to bring you my fun version of a glass of lemon water with turmeric, a.k.a my Turmeric Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins. You knew I had to whip up something sweet.
